VICKERLUBE OGL 1860-0 is an aluminium complex thickened grease formulated with high viscosity base oils and select additives to enhance water resistance and establish a tenacious lubricant film. Formulated to maintain separation of the gear teeth and bearing surfaces even when subjected to extreme forces that would normally create boundary lubrication conditions. The product is formulated with a special solid lubricant additive system for extreme operating conditions such as shock loading. It is designed to prevent metal-to-metal contact, eliminating the effect of galling and scuffing of tooth flanks or stress induced pitting in severe applications typically encountered in mining and other heavy industries.

Applications include shovels, draglines, grinding mills, and similar heavy duty open gear applications. Swing gears and pinions, dipper sticks, rail and rollers, splines, heavily loaded slow speed plain bearings, bushings, and similar mining equipment applications. Can be used as a priming lubricant in some open gear applications.
