Engineered from heavy-duty chrome vanadium steel, the CoBolt cutters feature precision cutting edges that are induction hardened to approximately 64 HRC, ensuring they stay sharp even when cutting hard materials like piano wire (up to ⌀ 3.6 mm). A unique feature of this model is the micro-structured cutting edge, which prevents round materials from slipping out of the jaws during the cut.
