Superior grade, high speed, extreme pressure, PTFE chain lube.
Originally designed for the superbike industry, INOX- MX9 No Chukka Chain Lube is now in high demand for numerous applications such as, hoists, harvesters, forklifts, conveyors and dirt bikes. The perfect blend of PTFE and tackifiers allow this chain lube to not only hold on but at the same time give you smooth effortless transmission in any application. Demand is particularly high in the harshest of farming conditions as INOX-MX9 is one of the most robust , durable and reliable chain lubes on the market today.
LANOX-mx4 is a heavy duty anti-moisture, anti-corrosion lubricant made with a high grade lubricating oil and refined pure lanolin base with specialized chemical compounds, contains no silicon, kerosene, acids or dieselene, is harmless to metal points and surfaces, plastics, painted and enamel finishes, fiberglass, Formica, rubber or neoprene seals, doesn’t become sticky, gooey or gum up. DOESN’T DRY OUT OR WASH OFF WITH WATER. Non-conductive, non-static and non-corrosive.
Lanolin is a natural wax found in animal wool especially the wool from sheep, commonly referred as ‘WOOL FAT’ or ‘WOOL GREASE’: it has wide spread uses, cosmetics, medical, soaps, etc.
Stainless steel is a popular fastener material due to its inherent resistance to corrosion and generally higher tensile strength than commercial low carbon steel. However, during installation users may encounter galling resulting in
excessive wear, or in the worst case, seizing of the mating components, Figure
By identifying the likely causes, designers and assemblers can safeguard against this mischievous, and sometimes misunderstood, phenomenon. While galling can occur between a multitude of mating surfaces, this bulletin focuses on the causes and prevention associated with threaded fasteners.
What is the problem?
Workers can sustain eye injuries when exposed to airborne fragments from work processes such as cutting, drilling or grinding metal, timber or other materials.
What are the risks?
Eye injuries include lacerations and penetration injuries, and can result in scarring, loss of clear vision, and partial or complete blindness.
Speeds and feeds are the most important considerations to achieve the best results from cutting tools. Improper speeds and feeds often cause low production, poor quality, and damage to the tool. Speeds that are too high or feeds that are too light can lead to rapid wear and dulling of the cutter, reducing tool life.
Speed is measured in peripheral feet per minute. It is often referred to as cutting speed or surface speed. Feed is usually measured and stated in inches per minute (IPM). It takes into consideration the number of cutting teeth (or flutes), the feed per tooth (or cutting edges), and the revolutions per minute.
Devcon Stop-Seize Lubricant is a heavy duty, high temperature lubricant that prevents galling, seizing and corrosion during assembly and assures easier disassembly. Also reduces wear in heavy pressure applications. It protects against seizure of metal parts. It is suitable for easy assembly and dismantling without seizure or distortion of new and overhauled equipment/machinery and all facets of engineering as found in steel and mining industries, refinery and petrochemical plants, mobile, brick and tile works, and many other associated industries.
Metal Corrosion occurs where metals are left exposed to moisture within the air. This is due to a reaction with oxygen which in turn creates rust and eventually leads to corrosion. Perform these simple steps to give your new steel the best protection and longevity from corrosion.
Step 1 – Clean It
1. Remove all rough surfaces such as sharp edges, mill scale and weld splatter by abrading, sanding or wire brushing.
2. Remove contaminants and foreign particles using a clean cloth and a suitable non-residue solvent such as Galmet® Enamel Spraying Thinner 300C.
Here are some handy little tips to help you increase battery life in your products!
- Store your batteries in the refrigerator in a sealed zip lock back. By storing alkaline batteries in a cool place, you will slow down the rate of chemical reaction and significantly increase their life span.
- If you’re storing your batteries in the fridge, always ensure that you allow them to warm up to room temperature before use.
